Celebrating more than 50 years in organic skin care is an achievement to be proud of, but creating products that are kind to the environment is just as important. In 2010 Éminence was proud to receive the treehugger Best of Green Award for the most environmentally conscious practices in the fashion and beauty industry.
We have been using sustainable farming to create our organic products since our founding in 1958 – long before the environmental movement began. Our ingredient farm in Hungary is powered by solar and wind energy, and geothermal heating is used in our laboratory. Our recyclable packaging is made with FSC-certified post consumer recycled paper and printed with vegetable-based inks. Additionally, our Beyond Organic Collection is created using only Biodynamic® ingredients grown on our Demeter Certified Biodynamic® farm in Hungary.
